In the first quarter of 2024, the Australian food delivery service market has seen interesting movements in user engagement on the iOS platform. The data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the downloads and weekly active users for some of the most popular apps in this category.

DoorDash - Food Delivery experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 18K in the first week of January and peaking at 28K in mid-February, before settling to 16K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a general uptrend from 372K to 371K throughout the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw its download numbers vary, beginning with 18K and dipping to 11K in late January, then slightly recovering to 13K towards the end of March. The app's weekly active users started strong at 661K, dipped to 628K in early February, but rose to a high of 689K by the quarter's end.

Menulog - Food Delivery had downloads that started at 9.8K and showed a downward trend to 7.2K in late February, with a slight increase to 8.2K by March's close. Its weekly active users hovered around the 100K mark, with a slight drop from 101K to 91K over the quarter.

DoorDash - Dasher downloads began at 3.3K, with an upward trend reaching 6.1K in mid-February, and then normalizing to around 5.1K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed consistent growth from 22K to 26K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, HungryPanda熊猫外卖 started the quarter with 2.5K downloads and experienced a significant jump to 7.4K in the third week of February, followed by a decline to around 3K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users reflected this volatility, starting at 7.6K, peaking at 12K, and then decreasing to 9.3K.
